THE STEVE DAGGETT TRIO

Steve Daggett has long been associated with local legends Lindisfarne, having in the past been producer and a member of the band so we should have high expectations of a songwriter of such quality. There are too many good singer-songwriters in the UK who don't get the recognition they deserve. If this guy were American we'd be falling all over him. If pop stardom in this day and age depended upon great tunes and delivery rather than synthetically enhanced voices then Steve Daggett would already be a huge star.

Now Steve has reformed his Acoustic Trio after a long break. Featuring the oustanding partnership of Michael bailey and Rach Rhoades, on bass, violin and accordian. Between them Michael and Rach have played in such bands as, The Peter Donnegan Band, The Billy Mitchell Band, The Caffreys and the legendary Morgan Le Fay, among many others.

Expect a range of popular folk based rock tunes, including Steve's own compositions and covers from the likes of Talking Heads, Bob Dylan, Ray Davies and Alan Hull, etc.
